Driver's age

26 to 99 years.

Young driver's age: 23 to 24 years. Charge 36.3 EUR per day. Maximum 363 EUR. Includes 21% tax

Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to hire a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.

Travel Restrictions

Hertz vehicles cannot be driven into and/or dropped off in any African, Asian or Middle East countries nor in Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Turkey, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.

Hertz vehicles cannot be driven to Norway, Sweden and Finland from 1 October until 1 April as they are not winterised for extreme weather conditions.

Hertz vehicles are not covered by Theft Protection (TP) when driving into Italy.

Should these restrictions be ignored, all insurances (Third Party Liability, CDW, TP, PI, Super Cover), if accepted, shall be deemed null and void. The driver will be held fully responsible in case of accidents and will bear all consequences, including the cost of repatriation of the damaged vehicle.
